Richard Brooks

I started after leaving school as a plastering Apprentice at Whitt Brothers plastering contractors, then based at Borrowash near Derby. I completed my 3yr Apprenticeship and passed my city and guilds craft and advanced craft certificates in plastering with distinction. A short period after this I set up my own plastering business and also trained in damp proofing and timber treatments to expand this business.

I carried on my training into building, carrying out a BTEC qualification in surveying and construction and then started doing full building refurbishments and home extensions which also led to building new build housing.

I now concentrate on my extension and refurbishment projects which i enjoy the most and with 20yrs experience now know all the potential trouble spots which I try very hard to avoid so the whole experience can be a pleasant one.
